I wrote this a few days ago, obviously on day 25 but it got stuck in my draft folder for some reason. A new post is coming up soon.
Ok,this has to be a quick one because I have a very busy day today. Lots of stuff at work and then I’m hosting comedy tonight. Not too much happened yesterday except that some customers at work were a total nightmare. The easiest way to explain it is that they made mistakes and then blamed me. Eventually I got everyone in and made everyone happy.
I got a lovely email from a friend, saying that I was inspiring her to eat better. I love when little things like that happen. I mean, when it all comes down to it, I’m doing this for myself, but if I can inspire other people to adopt this way of life then great!
Can you believe that it’s day 25? I was debating what I wanted to do when this was over, whether or not I wanted to continue these daily posts. I think I do. I might just continue counting but not call it ‘The Whole 30′. Maybe I’ll continue with the ‘What I ate today theme.’ Who knows.
So yesterday, my jeans were falling off of me. Isn’t that awesome! I’m excited and nervous to weigh next week. What if it’s not as much as I expect? I don’t even know what to expect. If it’s over 10 lbs I’ll be shocked but I don’t want it to be just like 2lbs. I almost wonder if it’s even worth weighing? I mean I’m feeling much better and love this way of eating so maybe I don’t weigh?
Breakfast: Poached eggs on top of a vegetable hash that included sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, red peppers and kale. It was all cooked down and then two eggs were added to give it a consistency so it would all stay together. Added an avocado.
Lunch: Spinach salad with sunflower seeds, chicken and my balsamic vinaigrette.
Dinner: Shrimp Stir Fry with shrimp, onions, mushrooms, peppers, garlic, cucumbers and cashews. All served on the top of a sweet potato.
